Yesterday was Cody and my 10 year anniversary from our first real date. Our first sort of date was to a movie that Cody had to see for extra credit in English class, but we don't count that one. Our second date was also to a movie, some movie about a lion or tiger or something - it was a horrible movie but a good date - hense we're still here 10 years later. :) Anyway, to celebrate our 10 year anniversary we went and bought Cody's wedding band! It was actually easier then we expected - aside from the jewelry store being packed with Christmas shoppers - but we did good, especially since both of us hate shopping in general and really hate shopping around Christmas. It's a nice simple titanium band - it's more gray/matte then the white gold ones so he really likes it - he even wore it around most of the day yesterday. So it was quite a fitting tribute to our ten years to get a wedding band.
In other events, we've just been busy busy busy. Friday night we went out with friends to celebrate a friend getting a job in California. Aside from shopping for a ring yesterday we also worked on our registry (that's a whole other post - registries are nightmares) and went to my work party. All is all it was a pretty nice weekend - with power.
